201-7100 Series
Application
An acute critical industrial silencer recommended for special Applications when a single critical industrial silencer is insufficient. The 201-7100 performs the work of two industrial silencers in series.
Excellent for Applications requiring a very high measure of attenuation.
Typical Attenuation: 45 to 52 dB'A'.
Construction
All welded heavy-duty carbon steel Construction featuring compressed acoustical fiberglass inserted between the double shell. This insulation will also provide a 300 to 400 degree (F) reduction in surface skin temperature. These industrial silencers incorporate both multi-chambered and annular passage flow design to provide maximum attenuation of all frequencies. industrial silencers are standard with 125/150# ANSI steel plate flanges.

A highly efficient spark arrestor, that utilizes centrifugal force to separate the solids from the exhaust gas. Ideal for both stationary and mobile Applications. Models 1.5 thru 6" have been tested by the U.S. Forestry Service, and have an efficiency Rating of 95% or greater.
Typical Attenuation: 3 to 5 dB'A'
Construction
Features all welded heavy-gauge Construction. Shell and heads are aluminized steel with stainless steel internal critical parts. Sizes up to 6" are standard with ID Slotted Cuff Inlet and OD Outlet. Sizes 8" and up are standard with 125/150# ANSI steel plate flange Inlet and OD Outlet.

Approximate capacities are based on average gas velocity through industrial silencers of approximately 10,000 ft/min; and will vary depending on pressure drop criteria.
Construction
All welded heavy duty steel Construction. Standard units are equipped with 125/150# ANSI flanged inlets and outlets. A variety of flanges or connections are available to meet customer requirements. Internals consist of special acoustical fiberglass packing adjacent to concentric perforated cylinders creating an annular passage design. In addition, special cone reducers and side inlets are available. Reducers allow a smooth transition where the line size is smaller than the inlet of the industrial silencer. Side inlets provide convenience of installation as well as the benefit of an additional 3 to 5 dB'A'in silencing.

Rig saver: Air borne hydrocarbons present a threat to controlled diesel, engine operation. These hydrocarbons may be drawn into the air intake system causing the engine to accelerate out of control with the attendant risk of explosion and fire. The barber rig saver is a positive spring operated air/shut off device mounted in the air intake system and will positively block the air flow and stop the engine. These rig saver can be installed on any make, model and size diesel engine.
